Classes are open to all students in grades 5–12, fostering musical growth, collaboration, confidence, and real-world experience through public performances.

Designed for every child, our in-school programs are fully embedded in partner schools' curricula, providing the skills, resources, and opportunities for students to thrive.
Always Free
Six in-school programs, each designed to reflect the musical interests of students. All programs are 100% free for students.

What We Teach
Courses
Drumline
This 100% percussion-based course is one of our most rigorous and disciplined programs. Students work together as a unit and learn rudiments, reading music and cadences for performances. These ensembles are featured in after-school sports games, award ceremonies and public performances.
Grades 6–12
Modern Band
In this guitar-driven ensemble course, students master basic techniques, develop their knowledge of chords and learn to read music. Students perform Spanish-influenced instrumental music as well as popular songs.
Grades 6–12
Music Production
This non-genre specific course requires no previous musical training and offers students the opportunity to compose, arrange and mix their own music. Students create their own beats and express themselves through songwriting.
Grades 5–12
Pitch + Rhythm
The foundation for all early learning programs. This fun and interactive course focuses on developing a basic understanding of music through percussion instruments and vocal training — providing students with the musical foundation for a successful transition into middle school.
Grade 5
Beginning Band & Jazz Band
This brass and woodwind focused course is geared towards first-time band students. Repertoire ranges from popular songs to marching band hits and jazz standards.
Grades 6–12
Orchestral Strings
This course familiarizes students with string instruments and orchestral percussion. Students focus on instrumental technique, intonation, reading music and learning both classical and popular repertoire.
