Lesson 2

In this lesson, students are introduced to the concept of tempo in terms of beats per minute, and how to make tempo adjustments within “Garage Band.”  Correlations are made between how tempo can affect the mood of the music, and how to explore the same loops through different tempos.  The lesson concludes with encouraging students to experiment with different tempos on their compositions to give the piece an entirely new groove and feel.
