Lesson 6

In this lesson, students are introduced to some of the elements of form that create the structure of a song including intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge and out-tro.  Instruction focuses primarily on the verse, chorus and bridge, discusses common characteristics that comprise each one, and instructs the student how to set-up these structures in “Garage Band.”  Students are encouraged to explore a variety of configurations and options as they experiment with setting up their own song structures.
